How to Jailbreak iOS 9.2.1 or iOS 9.2? Is there a jailbreak solution for iOS 9.2.1 or iOS 9.2 now? What should I do if I have updated to iOS 9.2.1 or iOS 9.2 by accident and am looking for a jailbreak solution?
Many beginners who don’t yet know about how Apple iOS signing and jailbreak works would fall into the trap of getting stuck in using iOS 9.2.1 or iOS 9.2 and unable to jailbreak their device.
Jailbreak iOS 9.2.1 / 9.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch – Status Update
The answer as of now is still a no, there isn’t any jailbreak available for iOS 9.2.1 / iOS 9.2 yet. The prominent developers, TaiG, iH8sn0w, PanGu and Keen, are working very hard their way to release an untethered jailbreak for iOS 9.2 that can be released to the public.
We believe iOS 9.1 jailbreak will soon be released, but the problem is that there is no guarantee if iOS 9.2 can be jailbroken when iOS 9.1 jailbreak is released. We would advise you to downgrade to iOS 9.1 now while Apple is still signing for it. Apple usually stops signing for an older iOS about two weeks after a new iOS releases, and when it happens, it will no longer be possible to downgrade or restore to the older iOS version (in our case now, iOS 9.1) anymore.
If you are still using iOS 9.0.2, since it’s the latest jailbreak-able iOS so far, you should stay away from updating your device to iOS 9.2 or iOS 9.1 before you make sure they can be jailbroken. Well, we will keep you updated as soon as any jailbreak tool is released for iOS 9.2 or iOS 9.1.
Unfortunately, if you were previously using jailbroken iOS 9.0.2 and have accidentally upgraded to iOS 9.2, there is no going back anymore since Apple has stopped signing for iOS 9.0.2 long ago. The only thing you can do now is to enjoy the new features while waiting for the jailbreak to be released.
As of now, if you are with iOS 9.0.2, do not update your device just yet, whereas if you are with iOS 9.2, the best thing to do now is to downgrade iOS 9.2 to iOS 9.1 to secure the jailbreak just in case if only iOS 9.1 jailbreak is released.
